Community and Co-Location at Crowthorne Hub

We recently completed and have been maintaining a comprehensive project at a new Community Hub built-in Crowthorne, Berkshire, at which there is a nursery and community centre as well as the co-location of three blue-light services: fire, police and ambulance.

The building around which we have been landscaping includes a community room, providing a flexible, fully accessible meeting space for local people and community groups to use as well as a children’s nursery.

This project was awarded to Panoramic by Beard Construction. Our works consisted of the supply and installation of trees, shrubs, seeding, soil and aggregates. All trees were double staked and we excavated tree pits and installed irrigation.

We placed stepping logs in soft and paved areas as well as works to a swale including drainage aggregates and liners. Also the supply and placement of some very large play boulders.

In addition, we undertook some items that would be classed as hard landscaping as the client needed assistance to get the site completed on time. This also allowed us to learn some new skills, to take into future projects, understanding the logistics involved.

Another successful project for us, which is looking good as it matures and we provide continued maintenance of the site, and we have since secured another order from Beard. Thank you!
