Community and Co-Location at Crowthorne Hub

We recently completed and have been maintaining a comprehensive project at a new Community Hub built-in Crowthorne, Berkshire, at which there is a nursery and community centre as well as the co-location of three blue-light services: fire, police and ambulance.

The building around which we have been landscaping includes a community room, providing a flexible, fully accessible meeting space for local people and community groups to use as well as a children’s nursery.

This project was awarded to Panoramic by Beard Construction. Our works consisted of the supply and installation of trees, shrubs, seeding, soil and aggregates. All trees were double staked and we excavated tree pits and installed irrigation.

We placed stepping logs in soft and paved areas as well as works to a swale including drainage aggregates and liners. Also the supply and placement of some very large play boulders.

In addition, we undertook some items that would be classed as hard landscaping as the client needed assistance to get the site completed on time. This also allowed us to learn some new skills, to take into future projects, understanding the logistics involved.

Another successful project for us, which is looking good as it matures and we provide continued maintenance of the site, and we have since secured another order from Beard. Thank you!

Project Aftercare

For a soft landscaping project to be a success long-term and achieve the environment envisioned, the work does not stop at the end of the installation. A comprehensive and appropriate aftercare programme is needed to ensure that the turf, trees, shrubs and plants, etc, establish themselves and have the best prospect for future growth and maturity. This is why each Panoramic project includes a strongly recommended aftercare plan, usually for twelve months after completion.

Panoramic are proud to have a number of experienced and highly motivated grounds maintenance teams taking care of multiple sites across London and the South East of England. Indeed we are now maintaining over fifty projects we have completed.

It is our aim to ensure client satisfaction by providing consistently excellent service. Not only are all of our operatives experienced in all areas of grounds maintenance, but we also try wherever possible to use the same teams for their respective contracts, so they get to know the circumstances and areas in which they work much better.

A maintenance team that works regular contracts on the same sites, soon get to know their job inside out. Their familiarity with their work environment allows them to be much better equipped to care for and maintain the grass areas and vegetation as well as identify and deal with unforeseen tasks that may arise.
