Landscaping Company £1M – £5M Turnover

A couple of weeks ago we announced that we had been shortlisted for the 2022 Pro Landscape Business Awards. We are thankful to be in the running for this award and are all very much looking forward to the event. We wanted to share some more information about the awards and the categories that will be decided on during the day.

The Pro Landscape Business Awards focus on how well companies run their business. Sustainability, corporate social responsibility, profitability, commitment to the landscaping sector, and client/supplier relationships are all areas reviewed as part of identifying the shortlist and overall winners.

There are a total of fifteen categories ranging from ‘Garden Design Company’ to ‘Industry Collaboration’ and from ‘Supplier and Service Provider’ to ‘Sustainable Company of the Year’. Panoramic Landscapes has been nominated in the ‘Landscaping Company £1M-£5M Turnover’ category. This category was created to celebrate the business achievements of medium sizes businesses. Judges will be looking for examples of consistent brief fulfilment, relationships within the industry, staff morale and prospective development opportunities.

We Have a New Finance Director

As we continue to grow, we are pleased to announce that we have appointed a new Finance Director, Greg Sheringham. Greg joined on the 2^nd of February and comes in to strengthen our management team and look after all financial matters.

Greg will be responsible for providing management accounts, including forecasts and cash flow management. He will also handle all payroll and pension matters including Inland Revenue submissions and similar for our subcontractors, including our commitments under the CIS scheme.

Greg previously worked within the construction sector as the Financial Controller of a group of companies and prior to this, he was head of finance at a large business (170+ employees) within the FMCG sector. Greg is experienced in business finance (specifically in construction) as well as producing complex cashflow forecasts to be used in investment models.

We welcome Greg to the Panoramic team and hope that he has some bigger and bigger numbers to manage as our growth continues.

This category was created to celebrate the business achievements of those with a turnover between one million and five million pounds. Judges will be looking for examples of constant brief fulfilment, relationships within the industry, staff morale and prospective development opportunities.

The 2022 Pro Landscaper Business Awards which will be the fifth of its kind will be hosted at East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, London on Friday 22^nd April 2022. We are all looking forward to the event and the opportunity to spend the afternoon celebrating with the wider landscaping community.

Six New Vans Join the Panoramic Fleet

We have recently added six brand new Ford Transit vans to our fleet, all liveried in the Panoramic Landscapes style. These will keep us mobile, getting to and from all our projects.

An interesting fact is that the Ford Transit, which we have selected, is actually Britain’s best selling vehicle. It outsold the Vauxhall Corsa, Britain’s bestselling car in 2021, with a total of 99,185 registered in all variants.

Three of the new vans replace previous vehicles, each of which had racked up over 150,000 miles service. Meanwhile, the other three are additional to our fleet and will help us to continue our growth.

New Business Development Director Required

Having achieved substantial growth in the two years plus period since company launch we now need someone to further accelerate that process. We are looking for a driven Business Development Director with experience working in the landscape and construction sectors.

We are one of the foremost providers of soft landscaping services across London and the Southeast, working with both private and public sector contractors, creating beautifully landscaped environments. We have great relationships with our contractor customers and provide a high-quality service that keeps them coming back.

The main purpose for the new Business Development Director, will be to nurture, develop and execute a robust strategy to further grow the business. The benefits include a Salary package of £75,000, Company pension and Company vehicle, Mobile phone and laptop provided. There is the potential to move to a hybrid working from home role in the future.

From Small Acorns: Panoramic Continues To Grow

As we enter 2022 we continue to expand thanks to the support of our customers, both long-standing and new. Indeed, we currently have a strong order book, in excess of £2 Million, although there is room for more!

In recent months we have recruited further site crews and additional site supervisors, plus we have strengthened our internal support team to ensure we carry on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

COVID-19 and the various lockdowns have not stopped or slowed us. We have taken all relevant precautions on-site and, where possible, our office-based staff have worked from home. As a result, the site teams have not missed a day.

Thanks to the hard work of our teams, impressing clients and receiving top-quality references, sales have continued to flow. Existing clients are awarding us repeat orders (thank you) and additional new relationships continue to be formed. We are now working with over 60 different contractors.

We are heading to a real major milestone in our turnover since the business launched just 30 months ago. We will be announcing this soon.

Christmas Jumpers for Charity

As a bit of festive fun, the members of the Panoramic team at Hastings were invited to come into the office dressed in their favourite Christmas jumper. The photo shows what a variety of designs there was and everyone starting to get into the festive spirit.  A small donation was made by each member of the team towards a cancer charity.

Just a reminder that we finish for Christmas at the close of play tomorrow, Wednesday 22^nd December and that we will be back in the office ready to start serving all our customers again on Tuesday 4^th January.

Improved Representation of Who We Are and What We Do

Panoramic has evolved a great deal since our launch just a few years ago and grown significantly since then. We have now taken the opportunity to re-landscape our website and make it much more appropriate to the services we now offer.

Panoramic now wholly specialise in soft landscaping for new build and refurbishment construction projects. Our updated website completely reflects this with a focus on our main services including turfing, seeding, planting and tree installations.

The new site gives you more background about Panoramic and who we are. It also includes details of our standard 12-month ongoing maintenance contracts, that we provide following the completion of most projects.
